The Soul Fest is a recreational space where you will get multiple opportunities to connect with your soul. To ensure that the fest runs smoothly, we are looking for Fest Buddies (Volunteers), people who are happy to connect and work in collaboration with us.
Since the fest is housing the fields of art, culture and literature under one roof, as a fest buddy you will get:

How Can You Be Our Fest Buddy?
We would be requiring volunteers under various departments. A brief write-up defining the role and responsibilities have been listed under each department.
Registration Department
Registration Department
Right from receiving the audience, checking their identity cards/documents as well as assisting participants and delegates, authors, artists, etc. in the registration process. This role requires people who are tech savvy, pleasant and can remain calm under pressure. Since you will be one of the first people whom all those coming to the fest would meet, who knows you might just get an opportunity to take a selfie with your idol.
Information Desk
Information Desk
An Information Desk volunteer will be required to know the details of the fest thoroughly and be ready to share it with others multiple times if needed. Keeping details of the venues and complete schedule handy and staying up to date with any programme changes is of utmost importance in this role. You will also be in charge of managing the lost and found counter and brochure sales as well as.
Venue Management
Venue Management
Since events will be held in a series, it is extremely important that the venue for each event is ready on time. Once the event commences, you would also be required to manage the crowd and assist in other tasks on spot. For this role you’ll need to be patient, quick on your feet and courteous. Although you might get an opportunity to be seated in the front row and watch some of the world’s greatest artists and authors, ensuring your venue functions smoothly will be your topmost priority.

A challenging and meticulous department, this job requires taking responsibility for our guests travel itineraries, managing their pick up and drop and ensuring that their accommodation is ready at the time of their arrival. Therefore for this department we need volunteers who are equipped to tackle any problem, are courteous at all times and are sharp and swift workers.
Author Alliance
Author Alliance
Volunteers in this department will be receiving and assisting the authors at the VIP Lounge in the venue. You need to ensure that our authors are well settled and taken care of before and after their session. Since we go by the saying that our guests are God, you will need to exude warmth and be extremely hospitable.
Book Store

Volunteers in this department will be receiving and assisting the authors at the VIP Lounge in the venue. You need to ensure that our authors are well settled and taken care of before and after their session. Since we go by the saying that our guests are God, you will need to exude warmth and be extremely hospitable.
Book Signing Corner
Book Signing Corner
Our distinguished authors will be signing books after their session in the book signing corner. The volunteers in charge here need to ensure that the signing area is equipped with all things that are needed. You would also need to manage enthusiastic fans who can get a bit unruly in their excitement. Ensuring that proper queues are formed and book signing proceeds smoothly will be of utmost importance.
Sponsor Management

Volunteers will need to coordinate with different venue managers, technical staff and work in collaboration with the sponsorship team to ensure that sponsor’s branding is displayed as per prior communication and commitment. This is a great work cum learning opportunity for people who aspire to take up marketing roles in the future.
Merchandise
Merchandise
Various merchandise stores will be set up throughout the venue. These vendors would need your support to set up the stalls, for smooth billing whether in cash or via cashless system. People with a marketing background or those inclined towards design will connect well to this profile.
Food and Beverage and Lounge Management
Food and Beverage and Lounge Management
While the events held will feed the soul of all those present, we also need to ensure sufficient stock of refreshments in all lounges. Volunteers need to make sure that meals are offered timely in all the lounges and water bottles are adequately available.
Music Stage
Music Stage
For this profile we would require people who have a sound technical and electronic systems knowledge. Musical event management enthusiasts can volunteer for this role as it entitles setting up the stage, carrying out sound checks. You also get an opportunity to liaise closely with the performing artist.
Press & Media
Press & Media
Volunteers in this team will be pitching in work assigned to the PR team of the Fest. Job responsibilities would include coordinating speaker interviews, resolving queries of people from the media. A designated space will be reserved for media people and author/artists interviews would also take place there. Volunteers need to ensure smooth execution of these.
Social Media

Are you a social media addict? Here you get to work closely with our media and design team. The media team will be covering the on spot and behind the scenes of the Fest and converting it to online content. We invite enthusiastic photographers, videographers, people with digital skills and creative writers to assist the team in churning out effective and engaging content.

Digital payment is the preferred mode of payment for many these days as it is more hassle free. However, since it involves monetary transactions, it needs to be monitored meticulously and entails a lot of responsibility.

Our esteemed delegates management is of utmost importance. Volunteers need to ensure that they are looked after well. Key expectations of this role are escorting the guests to their respective venues, timely provision of food and beverages to them and connecting them to the travel team.
